Course Description:
This course is designed to prepare students for academic success by equipping them with essential study strategies and an understanding of how individual learning styles impact the educational process. Topics include effective note-taking, reading comprehension, test preparation, and concentration techniques. Students will assess their personal learning preferences—visual, auditory, reading/writing, or kinesthetic—and apply this understanding to develop customized study habits. The course also integrates biblical principles on learning, discipline, and wisdom, encouraging students to approach their studies as a form of worship and personal stewardship. This course is especially recommended for first-year students or those returning to formal education.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
Identify their preferred learning style(s) and explain how it affects their study habits.
Apply effective strategies for time management, note-taking, and test preparation.
Integrate spiritual disciplines into their academic routine.
Demonstrate improved ability to organize, retain, and apply course content across biblical and theological studies.
